The Black Keys' Patrick Carney Alleges Jack White Tried To Fight Him At A Bar — Now, White Has Responded! The Gloves Are OFF!

Music feud!!

It turns out Jack White of the White Stripes and Patrick Carney, drummer for The Black Keys, really don't like each other -- and White proved that this weekend in New York City!

Tweeting bright and early Monday morning, Carney confirmed that Jack -- who he'd never met before Sunday night, despite an ongoing war of words between bands -- tried to pick a fight at a bar!!

But wait -- there's more!!

White just responded to the allegations of a fight, speaking to Carney through a statement made to reporters:

"Nobody tried to fight you, Patrick. Nobody touched you or 'bullied' you. You were asked a question you couldn't answer so you walked away. So quit whining to the Internet and speak face to face like a human being. End of story."

Hmm...

One thing is for sure -- this is a good ol' fashioned celebrity feud with no love lost between the two! Are you #TeamWhite or #TeamCarney??
